Interior
The new Honda Freed will be available in both petrol and hybrid versions, in both 2WD and 4WD configurations. The new e:HEV system will combine a 1.5-litre engine with dual electric motors, offering improved performance and efficiency compared to the outgoing model.
The Honda Freed air, on the other hand, will feature a naturally aspirated 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, mated to a CVT gearbox.

The new generation model is 4,310 mm (169.7 in) long, 1,695 mm (66.7 in) wide, 1,755 mm (69.1 in) tall, and has a wheelbase of 2,740 mm (107.9 in). This means it is 45 mm (1.8 in) longer than its predecessor while keeping the wheelbase the same.
The Freed slots in between the smaller Fit hatchback and the slightly larger Vezel SUV in Honda’s Japanese lineup. Note that all three ride on different versions of the same architecture.
The cabin features a familiar six-seat layout, including a flip-up third row, which is lighter and easier to operate.
